margie + dustin get hitched

A friend sent margie my way to photograph her wedding and before I knew it, I had made a really great new friend. it was if we had known each other for years. margie has a way of making you feel at home, no matter whose home you happen to be in at the time. after being a part of their big day, it is evident that her (and dustin's) ability to do this is infectious. it was like i was photographing a relative's wedding. everyone made us feel so loved and welcome. such a great day. congrats my friends....

I had so much fun photographing margie and dustin's big day this weekend that I couldn't wait to post just one of them before the weekend came to a close. Congrats you two! I promise much more to come...

kari and kiel get married...

Today was the best Monday. I got to be witness to the birth of a new family. Kari and Kiel, joined by their wonderful boys, were married in the beautiful afternoon sunlight. This is the start of something wonderful, I just know it.

...and baby makes three

my amazing friends from college days asked if i would take some pre-baby pics before the arrival of little baby boy H....of course i was thrilled to do so. pj and kim are oh-so-fun to hang out with...the kind of people you feel like you've known your whole life. not only did they indulge me by shooting photos in 90 degree weather and let me invade their home, but they also took us to by far one of the coolest dinner joints in the spokane-cda area, the flying goat in north spokane...brick oven pizza with yummy beers (kim and i of course opted to allow the men to taste test the beverages...we trust their judgement). thank you guys for spending the afternoon with us. we can't wait to meet your little man...

kari + kiel (lovebirds)

where do i begin to tell you how happy this couple makes me. my dear friend kari, whom i am lucky enough to work with, has been there for me when i most needed a friend more times than i can count. she is one of the strongest and most positive people i've ever met so when she met kiel and they began dating, it was if all in the world was right...kiel is such a sweet and wonderful person and he makes my friend so happy. I can't wait to see these two get married later this summer. thanks for letting me be a part of it. love you guys!
