Nostalgia
It's been a while since I've posted something personal so thought I'd share something close to my heart. Today, Nick, Kale and I visited the air show at the Coeur d'Alene airport. They had a B-25 and B-17 on display. Why would a 1940s war plane be close to a claustrophobic girl's heart, you ask? My grandfather, John Kearney, flew 35 missions as the ball turret gunner on a B-17. He was the lone survivor of his crew. I must admit, it was emotional to tour the plane and to see it take off. Like having Grandpa Jack back for just a little bit...

Wyatt (senior sneak peek)
This is Wyatt. One of the nicest young men I've had the honor to know and he comes from one of the nicest families around. I have the pleasure to work with his mother, Julie, who is someone I've grown to respect greatly. She is always there to help, no matter what, with a smile and kind word...and the apple doesn't fall far...

Calvin & Co. (sneak peek)
Ok. So I admit it. Sometimes as a photographer, you find a new spot and think, this is going to look amazing. Sometimes, your excitement clouds your judgement...as in, probably not the most award-winning idea to take a family to a wetlands area in the middle of summer at dusk when the mosquitoes are having a block party. We. Got. Eaten. Alive. Luckily, I had a group of three troopers who gave it the ol' college try. We were eventually chased out to a more metropolitan and less mosquitopolitan area...luckily for me, these three are cute no matter where we went...
Was way too excited, as usual, to wait to edit all...so here's a sneaky peeky...
